Seamless integration & automated data logging
Automate cold storage temperature monitoring using Netbits IoT sensors and send the data directly to FoodDocs. Netbits temperature and humidity sensors are connected to the cloud using wireless network technologies. By automatically transferring data to the FoodDocs platform, you can remotely monitor your refrigerators, freezers and storage space.
The system can be set up in minutes without outside help.
We provide you a simple sensor onboarding service. Your sensors will automatically link to FoodDocs, giving you a reliable historical data log, automatic alerts and the ability to create custom actions to track issues.
The sensors are easy to install and can work autonomously from batteries up to 6 years.
The battery-powered wireless temperature and humidity sensor node can be placed directly inside medical/food refrigerators and cold chain units. The sensors also feature external temperature probes that can be inserted into the closed cold stores where radio transmission is blocked.
The sensors will periodically transmit temperature and humidity data to the cloud according to the user’s needs. For reliable transmission and network coverage a network hotspot is provided. Our sensors are certified to meet food and medicine safety regulations.
Onboard sensors to FoodDocs
- In Fooddocs app Create API token
- Sign in to your Fooddocs account
- Go to Setup -> Integration
- Generate API token named ‘company-token’
- Reach out to Netbits support by sending an email to support@netbits.cloud and providing the ‘company-token’ for device onboarding.
- In Fooddocs app link sensors to your equipment or rooms
- log in to your Fooddocs account
- Go to Setup -> Equipment (or Rooms)
- Click on the fridge/freezer (or room) that is equipped with a sensor. Please note: here is how to add new equipment to FoodDocs
- Fill in Name of the equipment and Sensor ID
- Determine the Sensor measurement error tolerance
- Click Save
